Mission Direct - Volunteers helping the world's poor

Frequently Asked Questions - Can I come if I am not a Christian?

Can I come if I am not a Christian?

Answer

Absolutely, yes!  We ask that people are sympathetic to our general ethos, but not that they subscribe to our beliefs. We ask you to participate fully in the programme; we work very closely as a team and need everybody to stick together to be as effective as possible. In particular we ask you to attend our morning devotions and come to any local church services. You are welcome to contribute as and when you feel comfortable doing so, and feel free ask any of those nagging questions about faith.

All About Mission Direct

Mission Direct gives ordinary people the chance to do extraordinary things around the world. In two weeks you will change the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. You can help to build a house, classroom or clinic. We discover people and groups doing remarkable things in their own countries. Then we provide them the people and resources that they need. We do this by enabling people like you, with two or more weeks to join our life-altering trips.
