GAP Teams

Why not share your GAP year experience with others in a team?

We work hard to ensure that you are well-prepared to get the most from your trip...

There is a 1 day preparation and orientation day in Luton.  Then, before heading overseas you then partner with another group to start your GAP trip with one week in the UK training.  The week covers a range of cross-cultural preparation, Christian teaching and general life insights, along with team building exercises for the remaining 11 weeks. Shortly after you return there is a debrief day where you will be reunited with all your new friends.

We have piloted a number of GAP trips and learned what is important to participants and their families.  In each country there is a coordinator who takes responsibility for the programme, logistics and any issues that occur.  Prepare to have your whole outlook on life transformed while you are transforming the lives of others yourself.

You can choose to go on our UGAP Uganda or GO MAD Tanazania programmes.
