Cumbrian teenager bags the Greenbelt grand prize

A student from Arnside in Cumbria left this year’s Greenbelt Christian arts festival with a brand new iPad thanks to Mission Direct. Naomi Cooper had completed a ‘Superhero Strengthfinder’ test and entered the prize draw at our Greenbelt stand.

Naomi was one of hundreds of people to visit the Mission Direct stand during the August Bank Holiday festival. Nearly three hundred and fifty festival-goers applied for more details; a number of them are already arranging to join our forthcoming trips for 2010/2011.

Mission Direct also joined forces with Christian internet dating group Christian Connection during the weekend for a joint evening complete with fiendishly difficult pub quiz. Watch this space for further romantic developments!

All About Mission Direct

Mission Direct gives ordinary people the chance to do extraordinary things around the world. In two weeks you will change the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. You can help to build a house, classroom or clinic. We discover people and groups doing remarkable things in their own countries. Then we provide them the people and resources that they need. We do this by enabling people like you, with two or more weeks to join our life-altering trips.
