Mission Direct has started ‘tweeting’. Or in slightly plainer English: we are posting regular short updates on Twitter.
Twitter is an online service that allows you to share updates with other users, saying what you are doing, thinking or feeling. It is a fun way of keeping up-to-the-moment with your friends lives.
The Mission Direct Twitter launch will be followed shortly by exciting news about our presence on Facebook, watch next month’s Direct Contact for more details (or indeed our Twitter messages).
For those that have taken the plunge already, we are Mission_direct. To get started on twitter, go to http://twitter.com/ - you might want to have a look a look at the Daily Telegraph’s incredibly brief tutorial http://tinyurl.com/6fmdgos. Beware, though, it is dangerously addictive!
We look forward to chatting with you online soon…
Mission Direct gives ordinary people the chance to do extraordinary things around the world. In two weeks you will change the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. You can help to build a house, classroom or clinic. We discover people and groups doing remarkable things in their own countries. Then we provide them the people and resources that they need. We do this by enabling people like you, with two or more weeks to join our life-altering trips.
