Teachers Wanted!

Are you an experienced teacher? Share what you have learned from with untrained teachers in Sierra Leone. Most of them have had little or no training or experience and are faced with classes of up to 80 children with virtually no resources.

They are desperate to teach to the best of their abilities and the children are keen to learn – it will help them escape poverty. Transform the way they teach by working along side them for a fortnight – show them how to teach in small groups, how to utilise music and get the children painting and telling stories. Offer some of the world’s poorest children the best possible education and leave a lasting legacy with the teachers.

This was one of the most satisfying experiences I have had in my 40 years of teaching career.
